Reverse Circulation

Reverse circulation air drilling enables uncontaminated samples to be obtained, even in unconsolidated, fractured or cavernous strata.

Drilling Project Services' Reverse Circulation Drilling System is a completely integrated design which can be used with either a percussion hammer or rotary bit.

Drilling fluids enter the system via the Side Entry Swivel and travel down the string between the outer and inner pipes.  The returns flow up around the bit and hammer, are forced into the Diverter Sub and flow up the inner pipe until they exit via the top Deflector Box.

The Reverse Circulation Drilling System is offered from 3 1/2" through to 8 5/8".  All components are manufactured to Drilling Project Services' stringent standards, which ensures rugged, reliable, high quality equipment.
